“Happy 25th anniversary guys, I wanted to give thanks to everyone at Community First Development, all the faces that I do see and the faces that I don’t. I know it takes a whole team and also to all the amazing volunteers that have helped me… in the Territory and now here in Queensland…

Indigenous Women in Trades has come a long way. We have a website now and we have successfully landed a grant thanks to the amazing volunteers and team at CFD. It will help us with a pilot program focusing on hands-on experience with painting, carpentry and bricklaying… It’s all coming together now… I couldn’t have done it without Community First Development’s help… there were a few times where I was going to throw in the towel.

I just hope you are around for a long time helping and supporting small businesses and enterprises like mine. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.”
